Very occasionally you will come across things that can move about, but not very freely. This is almost certain to be a tethered goat, a wounded animal or something stuck in a cobweb. Whichever it is, obey the country code and leave well alone; they are private property, belonging respectively to a Guardian reader, the RSPCA and a spider.
