On The Giant’s Causeway: Samuel Johnson


Worth seeing, yes; but not worth going to see.

So the interesting question is, when Michelin guides drew up their three star system (worth a visit, worth a detour, and worth the voyage), were they consciously inspired by this quote of Dr Johnson, or did they arrive at the classification independently.
