Dealing With Bores: James Whistler


A bore was trying to make small talk with James McNeill Whistler, the painter.

‘You know, Mr Whistler, I passed by your house the other day’, he said.

‘Oh, thank-you’, replied Whistler, ‘thank-you very much.’
