Playing Cards: Dr Johnson

I am sorry I have not learned to play at cards. It is very useful in life: it generates kindness and consolidates society.

I especially like the way the woman in the illustration is sneaking a look at the man’s cards. As we say at the bridge table: One peep is worth two finesses!
