Far Too Much Rouge: Oscar Wilde


She wore far too much rouge last night, and not quite enough clothes. That is always a sign of despair in a woman.

  1. When I hear this quote, I am reminded of Tammy Faye Bakker. For all her makeup and gilded life, she seemed a bit tragic to me even before their great fall.
